Hyperlipidemia is associated with gram-negative sepsis. In this study we characterized the
plasma lipoproteins of fasted and fed septic and control rats with respect to their lipid and
apolipoprotein composition. Sepsis was induced by iv injection of 8× d 10 7 live Eschericia
